32. 5th Aug: Firangi Paani
Man!!! August is a great month for the band.
After an asskicking gig at Pune...this was the way to keep the momentum going.
What a gig! The people at Firangi Paani loved the band.
The energy of the band has been crazy this month. Shannon and Hansel were on fire. Michael was dancing, Partho was rocking out...and Mihir was absolutely insane.
The band is on a high as they head in to the anniversary show on the 14th.
We hope to see a lot of people at Hard Rock Cafe...but to sum this gig up.

31. 2nd Aug: Not Just Jazz By The Bay, Pune
What a night!!! What a crowd!!!
Pune ROCKS!!! There's no two ways to it.
As the band is heading in to its first anniversary it couldn't ask for anything better than the Pune crowd. They were absolutely brilliant.
Not Just Jazz By The Bay (which by the way is no where close to a bay) is a fabulous venue and the sound guy there (Nikhil) is brilliant. The gig began at about 9:30 and went on till 12.
Honestly, we could have gone on longer.
A BIG thanks to the Pune crowd and the Goan Gang which was there as well. You guys made the night as special as it was.
30. 21st jul: Blue Frog - Tribute to the Rolling Stones at the India premiere of Martin Scorsese's 'Shine A Light'.

What a night! It was our first gig at Blue Frog and it was absolutely amazing! We'd like to thank Rolling Stone Magazine, the Palador Films guys and the Carlsberg Beer guys for making the night possible. Also, a BIG thanks to everyone who was there that night. You guys were awesome. Good to know that rock n roll music works for Blue Frog too :)
Can't wait to go and play there again!

27. 26th Jun: Hard Rock Cafe
We had an ABSOLUTELY incredible time! A BIG THANK YOU from the band to everyone who came (and there were a LOT of you there that night!), to Vasudha (from Aasma) who sang a few songs with us (she was our big surprise) and to Hard Rock Cafe. Its a blessing that you exist :)
A big thanks also to Mr.Makarand Deshpande who sat through our entire set and gave us so much great feedback at the end. It was great having you there Makarand and we hope to see you at more of our shows! :)
26. 8th Jun: Powai Plaza Gig for The Mobile Store
Brilliant venue and possibly the best outdoor sound guy we've worked with. The show was a lot of fun.
25. 5th Jun: History Rocks Night @ Not Just Jazz By The Bay
What an incredible gig it was!!! The best gig in the longest time for the band. The crowd was incredible and they really loved everything that The Works had to offer.
The band unveiled their 5th Original "My Kind Of Woman" at this show.
The show was a part of a 3 city concert tour for History Channel. Parikrama played the Delhi leg, Galeej Gurus played the Bangalore leg and The Works brought it home in Mumbai!
What a show! What a night!
The band wishes to thank everyone who was there and all the others who couldn't make it as well.

24. 18th May: The Works & Lounge Piranha at Firangi Paani (RSJ Pubrockfest)
Good fun gig. The band played their fastest, most rocking songs.
23. 29th Apr: Firangi Pani!!! (Near Fun Republic, Andheri)
Brilliant new spot for bands to play. Loads of space for the band to do their thing. What a high energy show this was! Mihir and Shannon were in their element. Absolutely insane performance by the band. Great crowd as well. The Works can't wait to play at Firangi Paani again!
22. 1st Apr: Hard Rock Cafe!!!
What a show!!! This was the show where we played our 4th original composition "Rock n Roll Yeah! (The Oooeee song)" for the first time...and we honestly didn't expect such an incredible response. A big THANK YOU from The Works to everyone who was there and made this night so special for us.! We can't wait to go back there again!
21. 1st Mar: RAIT Horizons
We opened for Pritam's band Metro. The stage was great, the crowd was great and under the circumstances we faced...we had fun.
20. 26th Feb: Hard Rock Cafe!!!
It is without a doubt one of the favourite places for The Works...and this time as well it did not disappoint.
Good fun! Good show!
19. 13th Feb: NIFT
Mihir: This was without a doubt our best show so far! We had a blast! Thank you NIFTians...you guys were brilliant!
To play right before Pentagram was fabulous enough...but the love and response we got from the crowd took the show to a totally different level. This is one we won't forget for a while!
18. 7th Feb: Sharktooth Livestorms - Not Just Jazz By The Bay
Back to Jazz after a month break. And it was good to get back there! As always...we had a fun time and so did everyone who came. A big thanks to the BRA boys for having us play there for Sharktooth!

We had a good time! Thats all that matters :)
16. 24th Jan: IT-BHU (Varanasi)
This was our first outstation gig and to headline one of the finest festivals in the north was a great honour for us. The gig was a lot of fun and the people in Varanasi and IT-BHU were awesome
15. 18th Jan: Acoustic Beatles Tribute for the premiere of "Across The Universe"
Mihir: This was special. I've been Beatles fan since I was a kid and this was the first time we did something like this. I got to sing a few of my favourite Beatles songs with Deepu and Partho. It was a very stripped down and chilled out acoustic set and we had a lot of fun. (It happened at the premiere of "Across The Universe" at Cinemax Versova)
14. 15th Jan: Hard Rock Cafe
We love this place. A big thank you from the band to everyone who came and made this a special gig for us. It was more special for us because apart from being 2008's first gig...it was also the first gig of our new brother in the band...Deepu!
